We Have A Choice
Ever been to an office where everyone is always smiling and courteous? This has been my experience at my child’s orthodontist’s office.
It is all end-to-end white glove service, from following up before the appointment to how we are received and the follow-up care.
No, this is not a brand advertisement. However, after three visits, the way they treat their customers was easy to notice. I am sure the doctor must be doing something right for the employee morale to be up all the time.
After the visit, I get a personal text asking how we are adjusting to new changes and to let them know if we have any questions. Being a small business, they are not following some corporate policy. But, they have made it their policy to treat their customers exceptionally well.
We all have a choice in how we make other people feel, whether it is our friends, co-workers, or customers. But, so often, we are caught up in our own stories that it’s hard to put other people first.
When we do prioritize kindness, though, it has a rippling effect. Happy vibes can be contagious. Seeing and experiencing this firsthand filled my family’s day with joy.
