Unwinding with Intention: Relaxation That Truly Refreshes

What is your favorite way to relax after a long day at work? Every time I use TV to relax, I am never truly relaxed by the end of it. Binge-watching makes me feel worse than before, like I’ve given in to an addiction I don’t want to indulge in.

When I make a conscious choice, I take a long walk in the park, enjoy a warm bath, attend a yoga class, or practice my violin. These activities help shift my mindset and leave me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for the rest of my day.

‘Effective recreation should be something that soothes your soul,’ says Robin Sharma in his book, Who Will Cry When You Die.

What non-screen activities do you use to unwind? I’d love to hear what soothes your soul after a long day.
