Long But Rewarding
When we complete something after a long effort, we get a sense of achievement, a relief. That’s what I have been feeling lately.
I completed my year-long meditation training (The Joy Of Living course). I am proud to have stayed the course despite a few setbacks. A few things seemed more challenging than others within the curriculum, but I stuck with them.
As a result, I am wiser and equipped with various meditation techniques. You can read more about my learnings in the full post here.
I am excited to move on to the next course but also nervous about what it entails. I realized that the classes you sign up for as adults hold much more meaning. They come from a place of intrinsic motivation. You are not trying to impress your peers or parents.
I am grateful for this rewarding feeling after countless hours of meditation practice.
