One Bright Thing

It’s National Reading Month, Friends!

I recently found out that March is National Reading Month. Having a dedicated month for reading reinforces the importance of it. With so many social media and TV choices, we can easily get consumed with nonstop entertainment but feel empty.

The right book, on the other hand, can change your life. I have had many such experiences in the past year with books like Think Like A Monk, The Power Of Now, Writing Down The Bones, and The Artist’s Way. They have made me reflect deeper and changed me for the better.

The book I am reading travels everywhere with me. Some of my favorites have flown across continents. Their wear and tear show how much they are loved. My latest book is compact and occupies very little room in my bag. It’s Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life.
