Introducing One Bright Thing

One Bright Thing will be a series of actions that make me into the person I want to be. A Meditator, a Conscious Eater, a Runner, a Writer, a Community Builder, and more. It’s a place where I share one thing that brightened my day. It can be something small such as a walk in the park, a healthy meal, or talking to a neighbor for the first time.

My one bright thing for today was the Greek Goddess Salad I enjoyed with my family. I enjoyed the process of chopping the vegetables and the cheese and assembling the salad. Tasting baby swiss cheese in the salad was joyful for someone new to exploring cheese. It was precious sharing this with my son and discussing the flavors.

My body and my soul felt great after the meal. It brought me closer to the conscious eater I want to be. I promise to take a picture next time.
