Getting Lost Meditation – One Bright Thing

One thing that brought me joy today and over the past few days is this special meditation called getting lost meditation.

I have been doing the Joy of Living meditation course over the past year with Tergar.org. Each week, there is a different type of meditation you learn and theories that support it.

This particular week, it’s something called getting lost meditation. It is where you let the mind get lost after sitting down to practice. Then, when you realize that you got lost, you raise your hand. You can then go back to getting lost and repeat the whole process.

This raising of hand brings awareness and gets you back to the present moment. Getting lost meditation has been the most fun for me thus far.

It’s effortless yet clever in bringing you back. It’s meditating without meditating. Try it sometime if you are curious.
