One Bright Thing

The Magical Run

Somedays, you leave your home for a casual run, but you come back feeling very different. That’s what happened to me on my morning run.

I experienced everything from the sun to the rainbow to the pouring rain and the sun at the end again during my run. There is something magical about running in the rain. It makes you push harder than you usually do.

It takes something extra to run in heavy rain. It takes that special will to continue to run while others are walking in umbrellas and the cars are using their windshield wipers.

When I left home, I didn’t think I would be experiencing this kind of running. Running in heavy rain with music on empowers you. It makes you feel ready to take on whatever comes your way.

You stop feeling the pain in the feet and the shortness of breath along the way. In the end, it’s just you, the rain, and the feeling of flying.

Do you feel this type of magic and joy in whatever you like to do? Do share.

I don’t run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days.
